Vrindavan, 2014.11.05 (VT): A group of Krishna devotees coming from a number of European and South American countries celebrated Shri Dham Vrindvan’s manifestation day at Keshi Ghat on the occasion of Vaikuntha Chaturdashi.
Devotees from Chile, Germany, Belgium and some other nations lit lamps on the bank of Yamuna, performed rituals and Harinam Sankirtan.
Devotional singing and dancing on the pastime of Shri Krishna was performed on the sandy banks of Yamuna to mark the Shri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Vrindavan arrival on the next day Raas Purnima.
The group was led by the spiritual master of VRINDA, Swami B.A. Paramadvaiti Maharaj. Addressing his followers, Swami ji said that Vrindavan is most beloved place of Shri Krishna. We need to serve this land as the abode of our adored. Cleaning and beautifying Shri Dham Vrindavan helps a devotee to make spiritual advancement.
He told the media that he had been motivating all the devotees from VRINDA, an international society of devotees, to serve the Divine Land by shram daan. “This is why we are trying to maintain our activity of Helping Hands for Vrindavan, to serve and work with anyone who wants to serve the Dham in this way.”
“Chaitanya Mahaprabhu rediscovered Vrindavan on this day nearly 500 years ago,” he said. “We have gathered here to celebrate his day of arrival here, which coincides with the day of Shri Dham Vrindavan’s manifestation. This is because after visiting the Dham, he sent his disciples Rupa and Sanatan to point out all the places of Krishna’s pastimes, which had become lost.”
H.H. Srila B.A. Paramadvaiti Maharaj and devotees from all over the world took their beloved Thakurji Sri Sri Gauranga Radha Vraja Mohan Ji to the banks of the Yamuna river to celebrate the glories of Sri Vrindavan Dham and Mother Earth.
Prabhupada Devi Dasi, Saraswati Devi Dasi, Isabel angle, Julia Florensia, Elena Vera, Ricardo Erengo, Gearge Herman etc. were present during the celebration.
