Shri Radha Madan Mohan Temple, the first temple of Vrindavan, finally gave permission to take photographs of the blissful deity. It had always been very disappointing for many of devotees who were fond of this beautiful deity, but could not take photos and then meditate on him at their houses by looking at his photograph.
Deena Bandhu Das of ISKCON Vrindavan went with a group of yoga students from New York and Washington, D.C. on parikrama to the Vrindavan temples. He said, “When we came to Madan Mohan Mandir… surprise, surprise… they let us take photos! Now only Shyamsundar and Govinda Mandirs are holdouts!”
