On Sunday, Shri Ramesh Bhai said that Bhagavata katha is not just for entertainment (manoranjan), but rather for stimulating one’s mind (manomanthan). We should try to internalize its teachings and rather than lamenting over the past and worrying about the future, we should live in the present and engage in service of the Lord.
He further said we must give a special place to hearing and chanting Krishna’s lila, otherwise progress is just an illusion. Ignorance means not recognizing the Supreme Truth. In order to eliminate ignorance, we must take the path that leads to the Lord, by chanting the Holy Name. Because the Lord’s name is more potent than the Lord.
During Rameshji’s talk the audience was so overcome with rasa that it seemed as though Krishna was personally present there. The faithful present there were so filled with joy, there seemed to be no limit to it. Everyone joined in the singing of Krishna’s glories and felt as though they had achieved all the world’s riches.
Liberation is not hard to get, the desire for liberation is
The Shrimad Bhagavatam is a scripture that gives knowledge about the individual soul, the universe and the Lord of the Universe. It is the essence of the Vedas. The individual soul can be happy when his heart is full of love, the spirit of detachment and understanding of the truth.
The individual soul doesn’t seem able to give up chasing after material desires. Only when the Lord is merciful then the jiva can get freedom from his desires.
He said liberation is not hard to get, but the desire for it is. The Supreme Lord is not hard to attain, but it is very difficult to meet a pure saint. The Supreme Lord is equally available to everyone. The trouble is that we haven’t got the divine vision to see Him.
On Monday , the Brij Vikas Trust had a ceremony to celebrate the repairs made under the aegis of the Trust to the Prem Sarovar in Gajipur and Daha Kund in Uchagaon near Govardhan. The Brij Vikas Trust is engaged in many such renovation projects.
Present were Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj, Guru Sharanananda Maharaj and Ramesh Bhai Ojha all participated in the consecration ceremony. The sadhus present expressed their opinion on events. They said that everyone should take inspiration. It is a blessed act to renovate the ancient sites of Lord Krishna and Shrimati Radharani.
On Tuesday, Ojha Bhai said Indian culture is based on sacrifice (arpaṇa), performance of ritual (tarpaṇa), and self-surrender (samarpaṇa). Sacrifice is done for one’s family, ritual is performed for the forefathers, and self-surrender for society.
The jiva who takes shelter of the Lord’s pastimes, form, dham and teachings becomes true successful in life. The Lord’s pastimes are meant to teach us something.
On Tuesday morning, Ramesh Bhai Ojha went to Govardhan. There he visited the Shri Group’s Radha Braj Vasundhara Colony project.
He said, “Three years ago I came here to perform the cornerstone laying ceremony. I then thought that in the near future this project would attract people from near and far to Braj. I am very pleased to see the completed project.”

Govardhan Parikrama Marg
It has always been Bhaishri’s endeavour to encourage people in keeping our religious places clean and unpolluted. While he effectively communicates this message through the medium of his discourses, Bhaishri has been personally involved in the beautification of the “Govardhan Parikrama Marg” at Jatipura in Vrindavan. A famous place of Hindu pilgrimage, the Govardhan is located on a narrow sandstone hill known as Giriraj, which is about 8 km in length. The young Lord Krishna is said to have held Giriraj up on the tip of his little finger for 7 days and nights to shield the people of Vrindavan from the deluge of rain sent down by Lord Indra, the rain God. It is believed that if a person circuits the mountain just once, he is expiated from all sins. However this sacred trail has been littered with the waste carelessly thrown by devotees. The large amount of milk that is poured into the mouth of the hill and the puja rituals that are performed there, also contribute to the unhygienic conditions. Tirtha Vikas Trust, inspired by Pujya Bhaishri has cleaned up the path around the Goverdhan hill and set up basic facilities for pilgrims.
