n Vrindavan the spotless ground is fashioned
with many wonderful colored chintamani jewels,
the trees and vines are full
of blissful spiritual fruits and flowers,
the birds make a great tumult
by reciting the hymns of the Sama Veda,
and the lakes and streams are filled with transcendental nectar.
May my heart meditate on Vrindavan in this way.

Here, interestingly, the word svaccha is used to describe the ground. Swachch is the word being used in the “make India clean” campaign of PM Modi. So it is even in the scriptures, my friends. The nitya Vrindavan is clean.

he leaves on the trees are emeralds,
the flowers are diamonds,
the new flower buds are beautiful pearls,
the newly sprouting shoots are rubies,
the many fruits, filled with various kinds of delicious tastes,
are like another kind of ruby,
the trees rain an incessant shower of honey,
surrounded by bumblebee sapphires.

rindavan is surrounded by countless
supremely pleasing trees of gold
as splendid as countless millions of blazing suns,
which when illuminating the heart
they shower a cooling rain of transcendental bliss,
which immediately quietens the burning sufferings of life
and grants the rarest spiritual treasures.

n this Vrindavan
which is illuminated by numberless moons of spiritual bliss,
which is cooled by waves of dense spiritual love,
which is filled with many desire trees
harboring hosts of madly cooing birds,
there Sri Sri Radha-Krishna play without ceasing.
Whose mind will not be attracted by that?
