Vrindavan 2016.09.01 (VT): Braj Galok Sewa Samiti and Bhartiya Kisan Union held protest to save the abandoned cows in Braj. The protest was to save bulls especially which are abandoned by their owners thinking of their low productivity in comparison to cows.
The protest was held at Nagar Palika crossing and protestors demand arrest of those who abandon cows because of their personal interest. Bagwan Das Chaoudhary (Chairman of Braj Galok Sewa Samiti) lead the protest.
Mr. Chaoudhary said that he has already registered complaints against such cow owners who abandon their cows and bulls, but no action has been taken yet. He further said that he want administration to issue arrest warrant against such offenders so that a holy animal can be protected.
