Mathura 2016.09.22 (VT): Indian Government has been trying from decade to improve the situation of Government school as well as to encourage people to send their kids in them. But nothing has been changed except the condition of Junior Government School at Atulya Gram, Lohvan, which is a shining example of how and what the Government should actually do.
When the parents are going away from the Government schools across India, the Raya Government Junior School have enrolled 61 new students to make a total strength of 50 students. To achieve this, the school Principal went from door to door of the village to motivate them to register their children in the school.
Principal Shri Kuldeep Saraswat also likes to see his school neat and clean for which he keep encouraging students and general staff. Apart from that, he also used a portion of his salary for the betterment of the school which is assisted by the teachers Sunita Kumari, Usha Devi, Babli Gautam, Renubala Gupta, Lata Rani, Laxmi Chaudhary and staff Manju Devi.
The school do a regular school assembly daily in the morning using mike system, followed by physical exercises, scout training, etc. Extra-curricular activities like rangoli competitions, essay writing competition, arts and science competitions etc. are organised from time to time in the school. Winners of these competitions also get a certificate along with reward from the school side, to keep them motivated.
The school walls are also painted with beautiful paintings and quotes to motivate for cleanliness. School also contributes in environment protection by planting trees from time to time beside educating the villagers about environment protection.
