Mahavan 2016.09.27 (VT): Speaking in a public awareness campaign at Mahavan yesterday, Chief Development Officer Manish Kumar Verma said that knowledge about Government programmes is the key to development. He said that most of the people are not aware of such programmes due to which they are not able to get the most out of it. The awareness campaign was joined by many people of the sub-district.
Mahavan Sub-District administration organised a public awareness campaign yesterday by the name “Uttar Pradesh ki Nayi Chalang” (a new high for Uttar Pradesh). CDO informed about the latest public development programmes initiated by the Samajwadi Government which includes Lohia Awas, Kamdhenu, Cycle distribution, Swaccha Bharat Mission, Gram Panchayat Empowerment programme, etc.
CDO said that public should be aware about the Government initiatives to get the maximum benefit out of it. Also, after using any such services from the Government, public should not forget to provide feedback about it. This will help the Government to improve the welfare programmes by removing flaws in it.
CDO further requested people to have the contact details of all the relevant Government officials so that they can be contacted as and when required.
