Mathura 2016.08.10 (VT): The Sewage Pumping Stations (SPS) at Sadar and Bangali Ghat area were inspected by Ravindra Kumar ADM (Revenue) and Gopeshwar Chaturvedi (petitioner at Yamuna Kary Yojna). ADM also instructed the SPS staff of how they can be more efficient in their work.
ADM, along with one officer and Mr. Chaturvedi, did a surprise check at the sadar SPS, but it was not working at the time. Pump operator said that the SPS is closed becauseas the pipeline connecting it to Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) busted few days back. ADM check the generator and other machines and instructed the operator to get the pipeline fixed as soon as possible.
Petitioner Gopeshwar Chaturvedi said that the drainage system is chocked because of silt, resulting overflow of squalor on roads.
Bangali Ghat SPS was working on generators. But in the surprise inspection by ADM, he found that many antisocial elements inside the station. The ADM has instructed the SPS staff to get walls and gates build around the station to avoind any such gathering by antisocial elements.
