Uttar Pradesh Project Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has commenced work for the preservation of kunds and rivers of Braj area districts of Agra and Mathura.
Officials of the corporation today told UNI that completely destroyed kunds of Moti Jheel would be renovated by spending Rs 90.12 lakh. This work will be completed soon.
State government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1,208.32 lakh for the preservation of Chandrawali Kund, Ratan kund, Wahul Kund, Shirsagar Kund, Ratan Sagar Kund, Sangam Kund, Brahma Kund, Maladhari kKund, Krishna Kund, Gandhara Kund and Moti Jheel Kund in both the districts.
